Hear me out: this is one of the best romance novels ever written. It follows two adults reconnecting years after spending a whirlwind week together as teens in some of the most difficult circumstances they’ve had to face. There’s so much yearning, heartbreak, love and longing in this book, but cut together with incredible moments of comedic relief. I can only hope to write a romance this good one day!

Even though this book is super popular and I try to read books that aren't so hyped up in the book community, I can't deny my sheer enjoyment of it. It's about a nurse who fantasizes about her favorite masked social media star...who just so happens to be a genius hacker who ends up stalking her. There are a LOT of stalker romances out there, but what I loved about this was the humor. The MMC was so funny and not at all what you'd expect a "masked stalker" to be. Also, there's some knife play in this and...well...just prepare yourself for it.

This one is a slow-burn romantasy, that delivers ancient magic and a love story that refuses to stay in the past. With a fierce MFC, a “touch her and die” MMC, and an ending that leaves you spiraling, it's perfect for your next romantasy read!
We’ve got paperback copies of this one ordered - check back late February!

The sarcastic and witty tone of Carley’s writing had me laughing throughout each chapter. I fell in love with each character’s personality. Romance isn’t my preferred genre, however, One Golden Summer was the exception.

Cambridge graduate students Alice and Peter descend into a hellish underworld to rescue their dead thesis advisor, Professor Grimes, to salvage their academic careers. The journey serves as dark, academic, come-to-jesus (or maybe Hades) moment. Confronting their demons (literally) they are forced to figure out their feelings for themselves and for each other 💕
