Join us for our third annual Silent Book Club Fundraiser with local nonprofit Our Bridge For Kids! On September 18 we'll gather at Our Bridge For Kids' offices in East Charlotte for an evening of volunteering and silent reading, all while raising funds to go toward their mission of providing wraparound services for immigrant and refugee families in the city.

Arrive at 3925 Willard Farrow Dr at 6:30 p.m. to participate in the volunteer activity provided by Our Bridge For Kids. We'll be putting together kits for students and families in Charlotte and helping assemble literature to let folks know about their work. Then, at 7:15 p.m. we'll begin silently reading all of our books. At 8 p.m. we'll draw the raffle tickets for the raffle basket, which will include prizes from That's Novel Books, Good Postage, Our Bridge For Kids and other organizations. Our Bridge For Kids staff will also share tours of their space so attendees can learn more about the work they do.

The cost to attend this event is a $10 donation to Our Bridge For Kids. All proceeds will go directly to the nonprofit. Head here to donate and get your ticket.
