Join us for another fun knitting class with our very own Mary Catherine!
During the course of this class you’ll learn to make an adorable knitted book ornament to decorate your Christmas Tree this year. They also make fantastic holiday gifts!
This class is recommended for individuals who already know knit and purl stitches. Mary Catherine is there to help anyone who may need a quick reminder, but some skill is required. All attendees will be taught how to seam their project, as well as learn how to do a whip stitch to bond the “paper” to the book cover. You’ll also learn how to read a pattern and learn helpful ways to use locking stitch markers.
All materials for this class are provided, and each attendee will leave with a set of size US 8 needles, a darning needle, and locking stitch markers.
This class will take place on November 15 from 1-4 p.m. Most attendees should be able to complete the project within that time frame. If you do not finish, you will leave equipped with all the skills and materials you need to finish on your own.
